Safety measures in our office during the COVID-19 crisis
We are incredibly happy to be back at the office as of June 8, 2020.
Our team has been working hard to ensure our compliance with all of the recommendations of the Royal College of Dentists of Ontario and Ontario Public Health. Our priority is your safety. Some of the changes you might notice are listed here. If you have any questions or would like us to review our protocols in more detail, we would be happy to discuss them with you.
1.
Our office will communicate with your before your appointment to ask some screening questions. We have also added electronic screening forms that can be emailed or texted to you.
2.
Your medical history questionnaires and consent forms will be made electronic as well, to try to minimize the time you spend at the office.
3.
You will be directed to a new entrance to screen you for symptoms before your appointment. Your temperature will be taken as part of the screening process.
4.
You will be asked to sanitize your hands upon entering and before exiting the office. You will also be asked to wear a mask (please bring one from home if you can).
5.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you are offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
6.
We will do our best to allow for greater time between patients to reduce the number of patients in the office at any one time.
7.
You may notice that our staff is wearing different protective equipment for procedures involving air and water spray. We have also invested in an air filtration system.
